26 Jun Import Night in Downtown Plainfield
I hope all of you enjoyed Plainfield’s Import Night on Tuesday. Although these car shows happen once a week, this one was special to us because we were fortunate enough to host it. It was a real pleasure seeing all of you guys there and we want to thank everyone who brought a car to the show. We really did not expect this many people to show up with 487 of you guys going to the event on Facebook alone. Thanks again for helping us get the word out and bringing everyone out to see another successful car show with us.
There was was something for everybody at Import Night and not just cars that came from everywhere but here. Everything from old American muscle to modern Italian sports cars were in Downtown Plainfield on Tuesday.
There was no shortage of American muscle, new or old, as usual at Plainfield’s cruise nights. It never gets old seeing people’s restoration projects of these classic symbols of America. Chevelles, Camaros, Mustangs, Trans Ams, Chargers, Challengers, you name it, it was at the show. If you enjoy seeing these kinds of cars, go to any of the weekly car meets in Plainfield no matter what the focus of the show is, and there will be a plethora of American trucks and cars alike with all of the shiny (and not so shiny) V8s that you know and love.
Fear not import enthusiasts, all of the Nissans, Toyotas, BMWs, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris were the real stars of the show. There were even a group of MGs and Triumphs who happily showed up to the party. A pair of Lotus Elises also joined in on the fun.
It was nice to see a lot of classic Datsun/Nissan Z cars at the show. Everything from the 240 to the 350 was shown.
We also appreciate all of the customers who allowed us bring their cars out to the car show. We had a M6, 360 Spyder, Bentley Continental, and turbo Suzuki GSX-R 1000 that were all from our customers. Our customized Land Rover and BMW 335i also made an appearance Downtown. Thank you to our friends who also brought their cars out for everyone to enjoy.
Another successful Plainfield cruise night is in the books and it wouldn’t have been possible without the car enthusiast community. Remember, these shows happen every Tuesday of every Summer in Downtown Plainfield. These are fantastic shows to go to and are fun for the whole family.
