05 May Heads Up!
It’s an appropriate title, not just because the post is about headers, but because if you’re not careful, they don’t land on your head lightly.
Over in Luci’s corner, the Sucio M5 is getting its headers installed, in the first phase of its exhaust modifications and the first overall phase of its go-fast additions. After the headers will be some exhaust work (dependent on the potential power being mitigated by the mid-and-rear-sections’ potential restrictions), cams and a custom ECU tune. Once all that’s squared away, this murdered out M5 should be tearing up both the road and the track in no time flat.
Just by looking at the stock headers versus the upgraded ones, you can tell there will be some good power gains and an overall increase in aggressiveness in the exhaust note.
And now the process begins…once it’s done and on the ground, we’ll try to grab some video before they jump right into the cams and exhaust work.
