Aggressive Expansion: Fluid’s Doha Outpost

Aggressive Expansion: Fluid’s Doha Outpost

If you remember from our Middle East Trip postings, we have Hani and Marisa out in Doha, keeping things in line for Fluid’s expansion to the Arabian Peninsula. Well, progress is being made, and we wanted to share it with you.

These pictures and discussions of the shop’s progression are sent to us from Hani, who is directly corresponding with our partner for FMU Doha, Nassib Fayad.

According to Nassib, the concrete base for the dyno and the asphalt will soon be in place. After that, the dyno room should be ready in a few days and with some additional paint, the shop should be done. Along with all this that’s happening, the networking was totally redone and should be ready by this weekend, as well.

They say things are moving faster each day, and it’s good to see that everything is moving along. Before you know it, we’re going to have a fully-fledged shop in Doha, Qatar. And we’ve already got a true piece of Fluid over there, so hopefully it will see the same good fortune that we’ve had so far. It should be exciting to see how different the new shop will look; the more “complete” pictures are actually what the shop looked like when it was Pegasus, one of the most reputable luxury vehicle rental services in Doha run by Nassib.

For now, though, here are some pictures of the construction in progress:

Thanks for the kind words guys! You should be able to swing through the shop anytime now; they opened just last week if I recall correctly.

    Hi guys
We had to leave Qatar quicker than we thought,on 17 Aug, and sold our car to a nice Canadian gentleman Duane Forbes. He is in urgent need for an oilfilter. Please HELP.He tried to contact you, but OJ did not reply to him yet, he waits over 1 week now. What happened to this nice shop we never could enter? We came back in Doha for a short job,but there is still nobody in Salwa Road, Pegasus.Hope things work out soon .Please reply
