Just Another Monday

Just Another Monday

T’was the Monday before Christmas, and all through the house…we were working, because it’s not Christmas yet.

Lots of things have been happening at the shop today. For starters, Eastway’s hard at work cutting out aluminum blanks for our E90’s new velocity stacks. We’ve run the E90 with the shorter, aluminum-based velocity stacks in the past, but those specific stacks were for a different project BMW of ours. The stacks that Eastway is currently cutting out are designed specifically for the E90, so there’s some small changes, but expect quite the roar nonetheless:

On the service side of things, we’ve got a red E36 up in the air for a clutch replacement. Just by looking at the new one, you can tell that this Bimmer’s drivetrain will be grabbing more than the crowd at Macy’s on the day after Thanksgiving:

And over in Luci’s corner, he’s removed the engine from a Lincoln. We’re pretty sure he unbolted it and lowered it with nothing but a single wrench and his bare hands:

In the last bit of news, we’re reattaching the RS6’s bumper today and getting ‘er ready to start running so we can do some real-world testing of the transmission and oil coolers. More news surrounding this is on its way, so don’t go anywhere.
