An E28 story:

The journey of this car began around early February, I believe I purchased the car on February 5, 2009 and this is what it looked like. Had around 149,000 miles slight rust but ran fine so I picked it up for a pretty good deal. img_2245 img_2241 img_2238 img_2237 img_2230 engine-before The night I bought the car I drove it straight to the shop where it rested for the next few months. Hundreds of ideas went through my head on what direction I wanted to go with the car and before I could come to the conclusion my cousin decided he wanted to start looking for one. After he looked at a few and couldn’t find the right one I put the idea in his head that he should just buy mine when it was done. Therefore with the car sitting under construction he could pretty much put it together how he wanted. He then came across an amazing deal on euro bumpers and an even better deal on a Hartge front lip. As soon as they arrived at the shop and they were on the car instantly. dsc07273-large Rims Before: dsc07259-large And After: dsc07289-large dsc07283-large dsc07281-large dsc07255-large dsc07253-large dsc07248-large dsc07245-large Here are some pictures of it sanded down and being sprayed: dsc07583-large dsc07578-large dsc07577-large dsc07574-large   dsc07598-large Base coat: dsc07603-large Here’s how the car turned out with Chrome trim which immediately had to go: dsc07920 dsc07916 dsc07915 dsc07912 dsc07908 Here it is as it sits right now: dsc08318-large1   Check out more pictures on the Lakeside and Roadside post and aside from those I will post more up before I head out of Florida on Monday.   Thanks for looking!
